Fuselage
We ordered the Quick Build option for the Fuselage and Wings. We'll identify in the section pages the areas not covered in the quick build process that we worked in our hanger space.
We used Tony Partain Transportation Company to transport our kits. This was obviously not thier first RV-10 delivery and even the snow storm the day before didn't impact the delivery schedule. All parts arrived in good shape. We tried to stretch our transportation dollar and also had the finish kit delivered with the Wings and Fuselage. The upside of that was reduced overall cost. The downside was the storage space required. It became evident as we attempted to position the 'high value' aircraft parts in the corner of the hanger we had leased.
It took us a few days to organize things, inventory and store everything, but once that was accomplished we were ready to begin checking off the quick build work and identifying the work we needed to move out on!
