The RV-10 choice did not come fast or easy for us. We searched Sun N Fun, Oshkosh, did our own research, and got the extra motivation when the 1962 182-E just started costing more every year.
We should mention that probably the most significant boost in the RV-10 credibility came at Oshkosh were we met many of the Van's employees who not only have built RV's but most if not all of them flew one out to Oshkosh.
Its nice to have a great builders forum and many of the builders have bent over backwards to get information to us. I wanted to provide some of the links for these areas as they were instrumental in my decision to build the RV-10.

Van's website is pretty good...check out the calculator I can't vouch for it's accuracy (and neither will Van's) but its probably not too far off the mark.
