Cabin Cover This was a very lengthy section to work. We bought an overhead console to provide more directed vents, as well as a DVD entertainment system. This had to be fitted and glassed in prior to fitting the cabin.
We attached to door hinges prior to fitting. The fitting of the cabin cover (canopy) appeared repetitive, but necessary...don't want to take too much off and leave gaping holes to fill. Therefore it was on again, off again. You can accomplish this with two people, but its easiest with 3 or four.
Once the fitting was complete, we moved on to countersinking the bolt attach points. This caused a bit of difficulty (43-7, step 8) as the cabin flange at the door interfered with the alignment of the drill. Fitting and trimming of the rear side windows and the windscreen was relatively straight forward. They will be attached in the finishing kit steps.
We left the W-1043 Cabin Center Brace off at this point to allow for ease of access to the forward cabin to work installation of some firewall attachments (oil cooler bracket, etc).
