Firewall
All work within this section was completed in the Quick Build Option, with the exception of:
Drilling 5/8th inch holes in the firewall (step 3, page 27-2). This was only to be accomplished if we were installing a Lycoming engine...which we will be.
And Installing the snap bushing in the firewall bulkhead sub-assembly (step 4, page 27-6). We pushed this step until a bit later in the assembly so as not to put added stress on the bushings during the many tasks to be accomplished in that area.
We took advantage of the ease of the quick build option here to place some insulation against the inside of the firewall. This was a special order piece
Installation of the cabin heat valve was accomplished on the engine side of the firewall.
