Empennage Fairings February 1st The fairings are moving along but not as fast as we had hoped for...the seems to be a lot of lessons learned in this section and the Maine winter is not helping. The good news is that swim season is over so we should gain a bit more excess thrust. Fiberglass epoxy curing is proving to be a problem due to the temps in the hangar. Not happy about having a hangar that is at 45 degrees but its 8 in the T-hangar and we just have to suck it up until 1 May when we move out. We are taking these home and trying to finish up. Meanwhile the quick build wings, fuselage, and finish kit has arrived. More to come on section 13. |
